Any 3Ters out there that have an LM2? Opinions? I have not seen one in person but am intrigued by the watch. The nearest comparison I can think of is a Glycine Lagunare. In side by side pictures with the LM1, it looks "big". I would appreciate any thoughts or side by side pictures, especially with a Sea Angler, my most recent point of reference. Thanks!

I am sure glad you brought this up, because I have been planing to make a purchase on a LM-1E (hopefully some 3T bro hint, hint) after the first of the year, but man after staring at the LM-2 it's starting to look "cool", about a week ago I started to change my mind, man I like this watch, but I like the way the bezel goes with LM-1.

Yea it is a cool watch. I have looked at it a few times myself. Really like my LM-1

I like the look of the LM-6 too. I think there are a few pix here some place of some side by side.

I think Steve (srh_pres ) posted some awhile back.

Ask and ye shall receive... some q & d's side-by-side with the Sea Angler...

and of course the obligatory wrist shot...

imho, the LM-2 is the best watch they have done so far, and I think will only be exceeded by the LM-7. It is titanium and there's a big difference in feel to between it and the Sea Angler; but light or not, it has a definite wrist presence.

There is a chrono version of this one coming out as well as a GMT/Pilot version on the drawing board... hand6.gif

It's funny no two people are the same in the world and everybody has there own taste and I respect that, really I do, but now that's been said I think the LM-1, LM-2 and I am waiting to see about the LM-5 could be a killer.  Steve does the Lm-6 stand up like the LM-1, 2. I am undecided about this watch I wish I could see it live.  Please I feel I just got to unload like just let out, but I if this offends anybody then I apologize now, so here goes I think the Lm-7 is the ugliest watch I have seen in my life I mean, I feel like I am looking at the dash of that old 1969 volks-bug I had 25 yrs ago, or every time I looked at my wrist I would feel I was staring at video arcade game.

Steve thanks for Pics. The LM-2 looks awesome and of course the Sea Angler kickin hard

Hah... well, it is a matter of the individual person's likes and dislikes.  I always found the ploprof an enigma, not necessarily a fashionable watch per se, but one with some history behind it and a unique look to it that would generate some interesting comments.  Course, I can't see paying what they go for right now, so for me the LM-7 is a perfect solution.

The 'live' shots of the LM-6 I have seen on the Ocean7 forum so far have not 'rung my bell'.  They come of as being rather plain to me, imho...  Was hoping to see what the yellow dial GMT looks like before thinking about pulling the trigger on one of them.  ;)

You know when I first seen the Pics of the LM-6 I thought I was just looking at an Invicta (no I cannot tell you which Invicta he makes to many to remember), sorry but that's what my first thought was.  I don't see nothing original to it. If Mitch was to sell it for like $375.00 Maybe I could get motivated.  I just can't see the price either.

Thanks! The side by sides are most helpful, along with the obligatory wrist shot. Cool looking watch! I agree on the LM-6- it doesn't do much for me

I am a huge Ocean7 fan as well but I have to go with the flow that I am let down by the LM-6. For me the difference is the lume. If it had C-3 I probably would of been all over it. I personally feel it is those white C-1 markers that give it the plain generic look. I do like the look of the GMT model and I think it is because the orange chapter ring breaks up the monotony.

I have the LM-1, LM-2, and LM-3. I love the LM-1 and LM-2 and I like the LM-3. Again it all revolves around the lume. That is my only issue with the LM-3. I had a G-1 PVD which was a very fine watch as well but was convinced to sell it a while back. Only issue with it again was the lume as it used C-1. I will not even consider a watch now if it uses C-1 lume unless it is really something special and at a fantastic price. I personally feel that C-1 cheapens a watch.

As for the LM-7 feeling that it is butt ugly, nothing wrong with voicing your opinion in a very polite manner I might add which shows a ton of class for not wanting to offend a fellow member's tastes as we all have different tastes. The LM-7, as well as the PloProf are very unique watches that are built to suit a specific group and not the overall WIS world. I will admit as well the first time I saw a PloProf I laughed and wondered why the hell anyone would want to wear one of those. I then got to strap one on my wrist once and see it live in person and it was a 180 turn after that. I have no desire to hunt down an original though as it is insane to pay what they want and get for them now.

Glad some comparison pics got posted of the LM-2 against the Sea Angler. I couldn't do that for you yet as I am still waiting for my 3T Sea Angler but hope it is very soon that they are shipped. I been waiting close to 2 months and am getting very antsy. Meanwhile, what a better time to post again a few Ocean7 shots!
