Hay do you all have seasonal watches? Watches you wear only for certain seasons of the year. :) I guess I sort of do. During the cooler/colder months when wearing long sleeves and jackets I don't wear the bigger bulkier divers as much and lean to the dress and pilot type watches more. ;) But during the warmer short sleeve months tend to strap on the bigger bulkier divers. |

I wear the yellow-faced watches (Doxa, Stowa, Orient Star) much more during the summer than the winter. Blacks, blues, oranges, whites throughout the year. Steve |

I find myself wearing the yellow and orange dial watches more in the summer, though the winter could certainly use a splash of color around here! I also seem to prefer straps over bracelets in the winter too, cold steel against cold skin, brrrr  Cheers, Griff |

Hey Skipdawg, as a matter of fact I do tend to wear certain watches more frequently during certain seasons of the year. Mainly depending on coat weather and non-coat weather. Here in rochester NY we see temps in the -20s and some serious snow during the winter months. I tend to wear technical jacket/coats like Mountain Hardwear or North Face and those chunky divers don't tend to slide under the cuffs very well. Now don't get me wrong, I still go for a chuncky diver watch but something with a little smoother bezel like a Doxa or Omega. Cheers. |

I don't have seasonal watches but I do have day/night watches. I work rotating monthly shifts of a month of days then a month of nights. So on and so on. I have a few weak lume watches I will never wear on a night shift at work such as my LM-3 and Marcello C. Other than that, we don't have a real seasonal change here. It is either hurricane season or it isn't. |
