May just be hopeful/wishful thinking but maybe someone there was just having one of those bad Mondays, a bad hair day or wild hair you know where on the back side.:D

Wishing you the best and getting that beauty fixed and the matter with Gevril resolved Tony. ;)

Well 13 more days and still nothing from Gevril except a 2 word  "not yet" e-mail last week from them after I initiated the contact............8 days after our last exchange.

What a bunch of bozo's:X

Sent another asking for an explaination of the delay. Hey, I know they did not make the watch in question and maybe they need to source the part, but why would you not tell the customer that it may be a bit of a challenge and it may take some time?

My guess?? They dont care.

Not that I am aware of. I dont think he warrants what he sells unless its the lines he sells new..ie: Epos, thomas Gref etc.

1st of all, if you are dealing with CS in New York, IMO, it is typical of the NY attitude to be rude and condescending (hope I haven't upset too many, but attitude is the rule rather than the exception in NY).  That's why when I had my problems with my Hamilton, I looked for an authorized repair center that was anywhere but in NY!

2nd, what I find interesting is that the manufacturers themselves create most of the gray market by forcing unrealistic stocking quotas on AD's and by dumping their own overproduction directly (or through nefarious distributors) to gray market dealers.
