...the Orlando Watch Company in Winter Park, FL. I missed seeing the one and only Night Train they received by 90 minutes. They weren't aware of the issue with the dial marking so I informed them about the dial change out Ball has offerred, free of charge. I did get to check out the EMII Diver TMT LE, so much cooler in person then the pics I have seen.

I was also able to try on the Mad Cow, EH Chrono, Worldtimer and an Ionosphere. That EH Chrono is one thick watch (almost 19mm with a 7750 inside). But with the extremely curved lugs, it fits the wrist perfectly. Before I left, I asked about a rubber strap for my EMII diver, which they will have to order for me.

Was a kick to see and feel all of these Balls in person (uh... yeah). The young lady who was helping me (daughter of the owner) was very knowledgeable and it was a pleasure talking with her. It was a great time, even though nothing followed me home...:?

Well Steve... I have to...

I am glad to hear of your pleasure in fondling a number of Balls today, and am somewhat sickened to say I envy you!! It is always preferable to have a young lady assist you when a good number of Balls are presented for your inspection and review. I am certain your previous Ball experience only made your visit that much more delightful!

I do wish I had a local Ball emporium where I could go puruse the many Balls. I see you have taken a shining to the Fireman Ionosphere... should we be expecting something??

Hope you had fun being up to your elbows in Balls, buddy!!

Heh... knew I could count on ya.  And since my birthday is coming at the end of next month, yeah I might have my head in the ionosphere or I could be mad about cows...

btw, they had a very nice 'pre-owned' section with some sweet looking Omegas, Roger Dubuis and a Doxa 750T pro.  Great little family-owned shop there - and Carissa really knows here stuff... ;)

I bet you had a Ball today, Steve. I have to confess my desire for a second Ball but go hot and cold on which Ball would please me most. Ball has offerrings all over the board but for some reason the white dialed Fireman calls to me even though I already have a black/blue Fireman. That darn Cleveland Express grabs me too. I was a bit gaga for the Ionoshphere for a minute but I am just not too much of a chrono guy.

I would love the opportunity to see a number of them up close but don't see myself in Chicago until after Thanksgiving. That's right... no Balls this far North!!

I am super impressed with thh variety and quality of waches Ball is giving us.  Their product line spans everything from 1000m super divers, to stylish dress watches, to Dr.'s watches... and everything inbetween.  Plus they are doing it with flare and style unlike anything else on the market.  I see a very bright future for Ball.

I'm currently still on the Honeymoon with my Mad Cow.  I can't describe how much I like this watch.  It is simply an iconic watch for Ball and defines themas a company.  It would make an amazing Birthday gift perfect.gif

No need for that... you've got many up on me and with my ADD (oh look a chicken!!) I may end up blowing my wad elsewhere. Anyhoo, is the Night Fireman PVD? I'm talkin' straight up Fireman on SS.

The Night Train is DLC and is supposedly much more scratch resistant compared to the very scratchable PVD coatings.  So I am told... ;)

I'm talking about the white dial Night Fireman with the 24 hour sub dial that Marcus pictured.
