Man I need a little help here. Decided today to jump in to the world of POLISHING and well, Off to the store I go!!!!!! I bought a 500pc MASTERCRAFT Multi-attatcment Rotary Tool Kit on sale for 150.00 off the retail price. So I get it home, unpack the bastard, All is there, Beautiful!!!!! Tried using the Manual to install the Flex Shaft Accessory, turn it on, and the Flex Shaft doent work. I pack er up, jump in the Truck, Back to CRAPPY TIRE to exchange it. Get another one and again, unpack er, all is included, Read the crappy little instructions for installing the Shaft and again, Flex Shaft Doesn't work!!!!! Anyone her own one of these things and can help a brother out????? I called the 1-800 Help line and Support number on the box and got some darling little sweetheart for support who probably never seen a tool or FlexShaft in her Life (well, maybee a different Tool and FlexShaft  of sorts)!!!!!!ANYWAY, HELP PLEASE!!!!!! |

I've got a flex tool for my Dremel and I've never used it. After I read the it'll need constant lubrication and you can only bend it around 20 degrees I didn't bother. I just hold my dremel like a pencil or clamp it to my workbench and use it like it was a bench grinder. I'm sure they're really handy but I don't need another thing on my list to maintain. Good luch though. |

HAHA, I Got 'er UPSIDE, IGOT THE BASTARD!!!!! The Collet Cap was stuck inside the shaft and wouldn't release to screw the Collet cap to the motor shaft of the main Unit!!!! Beautiful. Now, anyone now how to buff a crystal or Stainless Case HAHA Seriously, What Compounds do I use for Crystals (Saphire, Acrylyc ETC.....) And Stainless Compounds for a case ??????? man, This is a whole new world to me!!!!!!!! These Tools are AWESOME little things to Own-If you ain't got one, GO get one. Attention CANUCKS!!!!! just a couple precaution JD...do not use the rotary tool on acrylic crystals!...you will burn a hole right through them...as well as on cases with movements in them...the high heat at high speeds could cause problems to the movementcoyote2.gif On cases/bracelets or anything metal that is not plated you may want to try Wenol (see link) it is the best there is on polished cases/metals and a little dab goes a very long way... the results are fantastic on even the worst conditions...the Crystal Clear works wonders on acrylic crystals as it works like a filler rather than a scratch removerhand6.gif http://www.wenolit.com/ |

I just got Crystal Clear and used it on my Speedmaster acrylic crystal. Looks great. Then proceeded to the rest of the watch. Fantastic product. Marc |

Dremel tools rule, I'd never be able to build a Pinewood Derby car without one :Dhand6.gif Next up is a 1974 McLaren as raced by Peter Revson... Oh yeah, watches...I use a Cape Cod cloth on polished surfaces, a Walthers model railroad track cleaner on brushed surfaces, and a fiberglass scratch brush on blasted cases.
