Nope, but in a Galaxy far, far away all the residents were "wondering" what this watch would be like - so I went and bought one just to see one in person. Still haven't had time to do a review.

I can tell you one thing: except for the mall-ninja dial embellishments - it's one heck of a watch for the money. Looks much better "on the wrist" than any of them do on the website! (Sorry, Mike! ;) )

Not such a fan of the dial, but I like the overall presentation.  I can't wait to see wrist shots and read a review.

What's the second crown thingy for?  I like the hex head screws and wonder why more watches don't incorporate them.  Maybe more places for dirt and etc to hide out?

I wonder how many "Special Operatives" would actually wear a watch that identifies them as such?

Shane Delaurian likes them...  he says they are beastly built and rugged.  And knowing shane and all the 400 watches he owns..  that is probably a good compliment.

I'll do a "review" soon. It will be very non-technical, just some observations and opinions.

"Second crown thingy"??  I told you - no technical stuff!! :D I only see one crown - flanked by what look like crown guards but are really the pushers for the chrono function.

The hex nuts on the bezel are non-functional - and the "Owner's Manual" warns about trying to loosen them! LOL

The answer to your last question is: not many. G-Shock and Timex are the choice of the day for most.
