Does anyone here have any experiences, good or bad, with the divers from from this/these two companies? Any input would be appreciated as I am shopping for MY Xmas present before the wife cuts me off.:)

I think they are good watches for the money - the company also supplies Steinhart and Debaufre and there have been rumors that all their watches are manufactured in Asia (but are allowed to say "Swiss Made" because they have a swiss movement worth "50%" the cost of the entire timepiece.  I am unsure whether that is true or not, so perhaps other folks can chime in.  I have read about a certain lack of quality control from Steinhart/Debaufre, but the companies have always responded with very good customer service to make things right.

I have had both GROVANA Sub and STEINHART Ocean 1. I must say that they are both good and solid watches. And you can obviously tell that they are from the same manufacturer.
