OK, I've decided to test for myself the accuracy of the Spring Drive.  Supposedly it has the accuracy of quartz but with a mechanical movement.  So this morning I just set it dead on to the very second to http://www.time.gov.

So, any guesses as to how far off it'll be in a week?  Post them here!  Kind of like "how many jelly beans are in the jar."

My first guess is to go by the manufacturer's claim +/- 15 secs a month.  So I'll say 4 second off.

Any other guesses?

It should be within 2 sec. after one month. So less than a second after one week.

Agreed. Less than 2 seconds in a month.

All manufacturers pad their accuracy so you can't return it if its 'out of regulation'.
