Those are nice lookers! Saw them at the JCK show back in June. I'm looking to get them in stock shortly. They make a bunch of different variants.

thanks-
Marc

Very nice...found it at a popular site for $163...here are the specs!

ORIENT Automatic GMT CFE04001B
Movement: Orient in house movement, 21 jewels, Automatic
Continuous Operation Time: more than 40 hours
Convex Crystal Glass
Metal :Stainless Steel Case/  unidirectional rotating Stainless Steel Bezel
Screw Crown at 4 o'clock position: Rotating bezel function with GMT hands, which you can set independent time zones easily
Water Resistant: 100m
Case width: 46 mm with crown
Dial: Black, Luminous Hands and Markers
One Year International Warranty

To me it is not clear whether the 24 hour hand operates independently or whether the bezel is used to set the GMT/ZULU time....perhaps both????

It appears that the 2nd crown rotates the 24 hr scale, as the GMT hand is pointing to 10 oclock if the 24 hr scale were rotated to the 0 position? :?

The 4 oclock crown I believe sets the hand independently, that's what makes it such a bargain piece IMHO....of course most Orients are way more bang than $$ThumbsUp02.gif spent

Okay Marc, which is it?  Does the 4 crown set the GMT hand or rotate the inner bezel? face4.gif

I was not going to say anything, but, when I saw the models back in June, and played 'touchy feely', the crown at 4 rotated the inner bezel. They were full production models, but I've heard information to the contrary that the hand is settable. So until I have them, I truly don't know.

Sorry!

Hey...at that price, either way is fine.  I imagine it is the bezel that sets the time thus eliminating the expense of a "movement" complication.
