Seiko "Landshark" today, first for marching with the Scouts in the town Memorial Day parade, now on our way up to the lake.

Thank you to all our Veterans for their service to our country, and may we never forget the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Sincerely,
Griff

This is the watch I was wearing on Memorial Day 1967 when wounded by shrapnel on Hill 174 near the DMZ (Vietnam).  Thank God it was unscathed! yahoo.gif

I'm wearing it now - - still keeps excellent time and has never had the back off! yourock.gif

Shortly after posting I was wearing my ORSA 3T, and just before running out to take one of my boys to see Indiana Jones, I realized that what better day than to wear my most valuable watch...my Glycine Airman, (Vintage 1964)...it took me thru 2 combat tours in the jungles of Vietnam...it certainly deserved a day out of the safe!

Thanks Ken.  I thought it looked pretty sharp too.  The brushed finish on the Watchadoo matches the case pretty close.  I really like the bracelet that came with the GV2 - but I have a GV2 Chrono waiting for me at the office.  Had it shipped there while on vacation last week.  The chrono came with rubber strap - so gonna use the bracelet from this one.  Pretty sure they both use the same case...chrono is a bit thicker.

Hey....worst case is you'll have to use the Watchadoo on the chrono....and it will still look fantastic!
