Daniel....Thank you...thankyou.gif

This strap isn't really even broken in yet...I need to work on that...

BTW...that Seiko Kinetic Bead Blast looks very cool (looks like a custom bead blast job that turned out very nice)...even looks like the bezel insert/numbers are bead blasted...great lookhand6.gif

Well Mark I might as well tell my short story to this thing.  I wanted one for the last 2 years, but after talking with one of are good friends here I decided I was not going to get one so I went on about my business lurking around on the forums just looking, when I spotted a Dreadnought and the price was way to good good, for me to pass up, so my good buddy here it is and...thankyou.gif

Going to ride MTB with my dogs, so
wearing this
finally tool some Q&Ds to have my own pics of the Sea Shark. Wish I had a better camera.

knife is a very light Laguiole LE designed by Philippe Stark years ago.
Laguiole knives originate from a small moutain town near my home town of Rodez in France. I used to go ski in Laguiole every week-end of the season when I grew up.... Memories!!!

Well...so I feel a little silly with this comment...I can see Teddy's watch lists "Oceanought" not "Oceanaut" and can see after a little additional looking that this one definitely falls a long way from the Oceanaut tree!!!!

So what's up with this one...I know you guys can help a watch rookie out!!!!!  Is this a custom build from different parts?

I still like the looks of it though....way cool...hearteyes.gif

Shed some light...please.....

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

No-one else has yet helped stew out, so please excuse me for the hijack...

Mate - rarer than rocking horse poo, that one!

It is called a DREADNOUGHT and it is a 500m LE auto certified chronometer in a Fricker case that is just bl**dy gorgeous.

Made (but long ago sold out and not ever being made again) by Eddie Platts from Timefactors in the UK. Seen fewer times in public than a full-frontal of the Loch Ness monster.

Have a look at : http://www.timefactors.com/archive.htm and go about 2/3rds of the way down the page.

No longer made, but a true investment quality watch that has me, and many others, droooooooooooling!!

Hope this helps, stew.

Cheers - IanM hand6.gif
