Nick, this is a great timeless dial. Are those Breguet hands or simply photo perspective that's caused the numbers to "fatten up"? Kudos on this one, amigoyourock.gif

Thanks Jeff, I think it is just the angle of the photo, not Breguet hands.  This watch has a nice classic look for sure.

Lovely!! I really like that time piece and with the snow in the background that's cool. If it snows here 1cm we grind to a halt and stop going to work etc....

Brice...nice shot...Your pic is a great reminder that these Zodiac Oceanaire's have a great and unique case design, great looking bezel, and cool dial.  Nice bang for your buck here amigo!!ThumbsUp02.gif

Remind me again...these are running on the Claro Semang CL 888 Swiss Movement, correct?  Are you happy with how this movement is running for you?

thanks for the kind words Chris. The Oceanaire does have a great and unique case I fell in love with a well as the hands and dial. The lume is pretty cool too, you can see the Zodiac logo at 12. I particularly like this specific color combo of the Oceanaire. My pics don't do it justice this Black IP version is just awsome. I had the orange dial and blue ones before and they were nice but don't even come close to this one. My second favorite is the black dial on bracelet.
You are right on the mvt sir and yes I am happy with it though some
owners have reported significant ticking and hesitation and skipping issues. I gotta say mine runs smoothly and fairly accurate. The screw in crown has to be by far the easiest and smoothest one to operate of all the watches I have owned bar none!!
Cheers. B

Thanks for the kind comments, Chris. To be brutally honest I got luck on the picture and the watch does look pretty good... until you really look at the crystal and dial which are pretty weak. I don't think the SC strap hurts either...;)

Thanks for the honest comments Mark.  I may still give one of these homages a spin someday...they seem irresistable for the price, but I know what you are saying regarding anything in the price range of the Marine Militare homages.
