Geez you guys make it sound like mission impossible trying to get one of these Vixa Type-1s! I will keep looking - and if any one with a set wants to deconstruct their set - let me know! O - I have already been looking for 3 years, and haven't given up yet... Wonder what they look like on mesh??  Ian hand6.gif

It has the 51 jewel Swiss-built Dubois Dépraz 2020 automatic Chronograph movement that i have not had time to research, but from what i understand it is a stack of two movements. It came on the bracelet but i did not care for it much. I have always wanted what some people call a panda watch but never found the correct one until i saw this. I sure hope the movement never needs a repair as i bet it would cost a bundle.

Your movement is a 2824-2 ETA with a module Dubois-Depraz on it. Somes like it better as it's more smooth than the 7750 and don't give the giroscopic sensation on the wrist as soon you turn your hand. Somes say that it's harder to service than the 7750 and more fragile. The 7750 valjoux is certainly more sturdy in my opinion. Congrats!
