I find the white dial on this refreshing and the black hands, it is a real attractive piece.

I do love this more every time I see it.
When you said glow does that mean the tubes are having adverse effects on you? subtlelaugh.gif If you are glowing I think there may be a problem.

Getting ready to leave early Thursday morning for a reunion with the 5th Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division were the Bandidos originated...I have met some of their heroes and am looking forward to meeting more (It's where GEN Tommy Franks served as a Bandido)...Involves a day trip to Ft Riley where the 1/16INF and the Bandidos will host us...can't decide on a watch for the trip...any suggestions?

Today, it is:

I have three and they are all fantastic watches.  Only problem with some of the models is that they are small (36mm) by today's standard of hubcap sized watches.subtlelaugh.gif

let's try this one more time...please keep pics to a manageable size of no larger than 800x600 as it causes problems for some members who are not using high speed or do not have large monitors causing their pc to freeze up or have long loading times...thankyou.gif

Nice, I have that movement in only one of my watches and it is loud!! I love it, originally designed for pocket watches and is no longer in production so the new stuff coming out NOS movements. Keep hold of those guys they are really cool watches IMHO but you all know I am a Russian fan.

I'm sure any watch you choose will be the right choice Ken.  God bless and have a safe trip.

I think I may have been guilty of this a day or two ago.  I've noticed a weird phenomenon with Photobucket in that if you use it to edit the picture, it won't update it.  In fact, the picture I posted today was supposed to crop out my finger, but it still shows as the original uploaded picture.  I'll be editing before posting to photobucket...Sorry for the inconvenience!

you can set your photobucket account to automatically resize your pics to 800x600 when uploading them...I hate to keep hounding about this but everytime a large pic is posted I get a messaged by WIS who have honest complaints and as much as I like large pics myself because I use a large monitor not everyone does ...so this size seems to work well and is still quite sizeable....I'm sorry for any inconvenience and TY for understanding.thumbsup.gif
