Couldn't post yesterday. Went deep sea fishing with my 2 sons. No luck!

I reviewed yesterday's very diverse posts and watches posted were all impressive! Kudos 3T. I enjoyed the review.

Today was a lazy day at home beating seasicknesssubtlelaugh.gif.

Rolex Daytona for a rainy and cold day.

Gonna start grilling in preparation for my daughter's birthday party which is really our neighborhood cook out. It culminates in a water fight which can also be viewed as a wet t-shirt contest!dog smile.gif I wanna look good but will go with the stunt double.

Well as you know the Blue ORsa did not work for me, just too many colors, a bit of a toyish/clownish look not to my taste but I liked how th ewatch was built and all... quality, concept... I had flipped the Blue one BNIB, so i thought I'd try the black one which is a bit more conservative, just black and orange... so I got it in a trade but still not sure it is a keeper... and I ahve a feeling I'm gonna need lots of $$ for the Omega 1040 restore job

Hey Chris, this was one of my first higher end watches that i bought years ago. I had collected others but this might be the first $1200+ watch i bought. I have been thinking about putting the "old skool " bracelet back on.Thanks for the kind words!

Hey Trent...very interesting...sounds like I'm following a similar path to you as the Omega's (this Great White and the 2254.50) have taken me into a different level with maybe two or three others in my collection.  These are great classics IMO, and look great on the bracelet and rubber options.

Thanks also for the kind words on the Great White.thankyou.gif

Thanks Brice...I did pick this one up from a seller on WUS over a month ago...I missed a few "right ones" on the way to this one...but this was the "full package" and in the end, had everything I was looking for to make it the right one to buy IMO (and in absolutely amazing condition!!!).
