Then in the afternoon, I changed back into the newly-arrived Crux CX-1anodie.gif. I think this watch will be a very frequent companion of mine. I sure hope Crux launches a PVD or DLC model soon as I'm sure this would look even more dramatic in black.

Apologies for the blue hue....tons of blue UV rays heresubtlelaugh.gif. I'll buy a UV filter soon.

Brilliant!! What a lovely pair!!
I take it that yours is the one with the pink sleeve?

Also you know marking the picture with whos is whos watch really ruins my comment.
I am going to sulk now.
Amazing watches, impressive.

Thanks, Graham.thankyou.gifI last wore and posted this DJ solo about a year ago. Again, I wore this one a lot circa 2000 when I worked in a bank and wore monkey suits daily. I hardly wear it now  because I find it so tiny given the present crop of  watches.

Hahaha. Thanks, Williamthankyou.gif. My smaller watches of a decade ago are now designated "hidden watches"subtlelaugh.gif. I guess for a long, long time they will be hidden considering its the era of the giant watches.whichone.gif

Thanks, Nick. I know what you mean....I was tempted to sell mine a few years ago too when small watches almost instantly lost their appeal but since this DateJust is a His and Hers set, I just knew the missus would never have approved. I guess I'm stuck with this for a long time. This is an 11 year watch that still looks like it's brand new. Twice brought to Rolex House for regular servicing and buffing and it's amazing how new it still looks. That's also the distinction of the Jubillee bracelet and the serrated bezel.
