I was going to wear the Seiko Premier today again but the buckle on the strap does what it normally does and dug into my wrist and made it uncomfortable to wear for a second day, so thats it!! The metal strap is going back on it I am not shoving it in a draw to forget about it for another 6 months.
Anyway Deep blue for today.

Good morning all.
I'm wearing my new arrival today. The DOXA 5000T definitely has a lot of wrist presence! Perfect size IMO!

Have a great day!

Wonderful, a Doxa is on my wish list but not for a while yet, I am low on funds and am still waiting on a watch to turn up, maybe early next month.

Again a beautiful watch!!

At long last, another project completed!  This is a 1975 Seiko 6138-0011 "UFO" chrono with column wheel, vertical clutch, manual wind & auto and 21 jewels.
Huge for its time: 46mm, 15mm thick!

Triple WOW!!!, wowzer.gifGraham. The spa work was lightning quick. If you didn't mention this was a 1975 version, I would have thought it was wholly brand new.

Against the previous PM you sent me on the this very rare chrono, I am amazed at the dial work and bezel restoration and how the piece developed. I am all drool on thisdrool.gifdrool.gifdrool.gif. I know you'll love it more than your vintage Seiko divers.

Wear it in good health.thumbsup.gif

This must be a joy to wear on your wrist, I love the vintage Seikos and that is a gem. Do you have any of the BullHead  Seikos aswell?

Again that looks a treat.

Thanks, Jeff , Will and Neo.
Will, like most Seiko movements it is not really soft on the eye - quite industrial looking in fact.  Of course they were never intended to be seen by the regular watch owner, anyway.  I will shoot a pic when I open the caseback again.  I need to adjust the minute hand of the chrono slightly anyway.

Drool_27.gif price tag doesn't matter. What matters is that you like it (and don't get in debt for a watch IMHO)! Plus it looks great for the$
enjoy it

Thank you all for the kind words on the new Doxa 5000Tthankyou.gif

I gotta tell you, it’s a beast for a Doxa, it wears much bigger vs. the 750 compared to what the #s suggest. Seems to have a better build/finish too overall ThumbsUp02.gif than the other Doxa’s I have owned, love the hour indices.  At first I was disappointed the 5000 would not have the BOR bracelet, but end up liking this one and the clasp with Diver extension rocks IMHO. It’s a beauty for sure!  Blue would be nice toosubtlelaugh.gif

Thanks again, Brice

Thanks Will, this is how I originally got the watch, I ordered the leather after. It is nice to wear it again without the buckle digging in to the wrist.
I guess you will be looking for one now!!
