Thanks Graham. A former member spontaneously offerred the hands and I couldn't refuse... Livens up the dial a bit!

Tony!...Thanks for the kind words on the Epos...thankyou.gif

I agree with you...this is a fantastic looking piece in the flesh...the 44mm diameter and accompanying large dial gives it generous proportions that I don't usually see in a sub-style watch.  I'm also really happy with how the green/orange look together in this limited edition...cool.gif...aspects of the design sort of hint at a cross between the Milgauss and the Seadweller IMO...and I like it!!!

I've always like this watch but yours always stood out. Those hands made a huge difference!
There was a white dial version with modded hands for sale on WUS recently, very tempting!!!

congrats on the new arrival! I've always admired it on Will's wrist shot. A sub with a twist to it, thanks to the use of green as the orange too. Also not the typical round markers seen on most other subs homage like on my Steinhart. How does it compare to the steinhart/debaufre well known sub homages. Congratulations again!!

Thanks Brice!!!thankyou.gif

You know, I can't really comment on how it compares to the Steinhart sub homages in terms of build etc. (as I've never owned or seen one of those in person...I've only seen pics).

Will commented on the size difference...this one is 44mm diameter while the Steinhart pieces are 42mm (both with 22mm lugs).  This EPOS is rather svelt in thickness at approximately 11.5mm thick (versus the Steinhart at 13.5mm thick).  The lug design and bezel edge looks a little different between the two IMO...and the EPOS has the integrated into the bezel pip at 12 o'clock versus the bonded on pip that I've seen on a lot of the Steinhart pieces (don't know if they are all that way?).

I'm liking some of the unique design elements and the color combo on this one quite a bit though.

I'm liking this one very much...
