Rolf, I'm starting to like this one. Laco is so much under the radar but that watch is really striking especially because it's black. ThumbsUp02.gif

Thanks, Graham. No spa treatment at all. Just hardly any wrist time and going full circle on rotation. I was timing the start of my picture taking process, a smoke and up to the time I saddled up for work....all in all about 7 minutes. dog smile.gif

Tony Duronio wrote: Always liked that watch Rolf, innovative design Thumbsup3.gifYeah, I really like it to Tony and BigrustyPig. ridiculously comfy on the wrist with the parabolic case design, can`t even feel it`s there. And the flexible "lug extenders" just lets it hug the wrist. One of my all time favorites, and a keeper for sure! And mine has my unit logo printed on the dial (by LACO), a LE of only 10 made. Mine of course being 01/10 hehe.

And haven`t seen anyone else here with it, so maybe I`ll do a review on it? Absolutely a great watch for not that much money (€490) And I have nothing but good things to say about dealing with LACO and Mr and Mrs Gunther.

And LACO has a new Squad watch out now, with a more standard design to it, and a much higher price. I for one, like mine much more.

Rolf, I like your version better than the new one. Tony's right---the parabolic design is very rare and i can't even think of a modern day watch with such an approach. i saw that and read lots about it on the Laco site and you are so right about the friendly price. I hope you post it oftenthumbsup.gif

That looks great, I really like the alternative bezel with a black dial.  Really changes the watch up (in a good way).

Very cool, O. I like the numeral dial and as I told you I almost wish that was a choice with the orange dial. I think the SS bezel looks sweet on your variant.wowzer.gif

The Zenith wrist shot is deceptive.  If you look at my original post on the Zenith (http://timetechtalk.com/forum2/22551.html), you can see they have a very similar case shape.  Obviously, there are some small differences (angle of lugs, lug width, dimension of inner bezel lug, etc), and the Helson seems closer to the 2002 Squale re-issue than the original 1960s divers, but certainly fits as an "homage."

I took a bunch of comparison shots last night, but didn't get a chance to upload them yet.  If work doesn't keep me here all night, I'll throw them up in a new arrival post.
