The good boy with my package was here.
Switch to my newly finished 2014.
Great result I think.
Awesome work from my watchmaker.
It is difficult to photograph how the finish looks in real.

Looks really great Phil!
That finish is so dark for beadblasted SS, that it almost looks like it is coated (was your 2014 the version you were getting a specialty coating on or beadblasted?) - was trying to remember???
Anyway, looks absolutely sweet and really changes the overall look from the polished finish for sure! Looks awesome!
Lovin' both of your VDBs today!!!

Yeah, Looks like coated. But it is only blasted.
My other 2014 is blasted too. It is a bit darker than this one.

Thanks Chris,
I couldn't even see the dial & the case was beat to hell, a little Cape Cod & viola now waiting for the Poly Watch so I can see if the acrylic crystal will come clean a bit more.My friend had this in his cars ashtray for 7-8 yrs. Last edited on Thu Jun 4th, 2015 05:26 pm by watchdaddy1 |

Very nicely done! The PolyWatch should indeed clean up the crystal even more.
How's it running btw? The ashtray of your friend's car for 7-8 years seems pretty brutal, especially given the temperatures that a car interior sees during the summer. Nice pickup, and one cool vintage GMT IMO!!!!
