My wife found at a garage sale a curious little piece, a vintage mechanical Timex. Still runs, a lttle fast though.

Cool vintage find there Bill! cool.gif Your wife did good! (how much was it???...I've heard of some amazingly cheap finds).

Timex seems to have done a number of cool, mechanical watches in the past (from a brand that I typically only think of as providing quartz driven watches only).

She paid 10 cents for a ziploc bag of watches, this happened to be one of them.

She almost gave it to my 8 month old grandson to play with as a toy. I don't think the "Water Resistant" rating would have stood up to that drool! subtlelaugh.gif

Good call, I agree...water resistance may not have stood up to that drool, and it looks better on your wrist anyway!ThumbsUp02.gif subtlelaugh.gif
