Thanks for the nod yesterday, Herr Philipp. The BLNR is still one of my faves.

still the PUCK (thanks again Chris, I enjoy that watch so much)

It's a bit too warm here for early autumn, 30°C all the week. 278.gif

Loved that Bruce Wayne yesterday Jeff (that truly might be my favorite gmt-master II, but I'm completely guilty of loving the regular gmt-master II green too)!thumbsup.gif Lovin' your SD today though...one of my favorite Rolexes and the only one I have the privilege of owning at the moment.

This must be a new to newer arrival, yes Chris? homerthinks.gif

I will have to pay a visit to google, because this is a completely new Tuna model to me...(I must be living under a rock, because Tuna and Solar are not ringing a bell for me immediately...subtlelaugh.gif).

If it is a newbie, enjoy!!

...The Seiko Tuna and Solar connection is starting to come back to me Chris...

After a bit of thought (mildly distracted by Thursday night football I must admit! subtlelaugh.gif). I'm remembering Phil posted up a thread on these new JDM Seiko Solar models...

...there are several in the lineup that definitely look great!

This is the first "in-the-wild" one that I've seen though...hopefully you are impressed with the build on this one?!

Ya I was trying to unbox this make dinner and watch the game too...

Yes yes and yes... I'm impressed by the watch, it's barely any bigger than an skx so it has a really nice fit! I have some concerns about parts long term like bezel inserts if these are truly going to be LE models I may have to bench it as a collector piece. I talked myself out of the Anko in favor of this one and I am pretty happy with it initially. I scored this bracelet model SBDN021 second hand on the forums for a reasonable price too! I am still trying to decide on a strap for it, rubber tonight but I will probably settle on a nato or zulu.

Looks great on the rubber that you started with...and great to hear that you are happy with the build quality on this one.

Will, no doubt, be great on a nice nato or zulu combo too. Interesting that you already scored one on the second hand market! It is interesting regarding these being described as LE models from Seiko out of the gate...it is hard to believe the line won't continue with a few more regular models.

Congrats and enjoy the new arrival Chris!
