I'm home sick today, unfortunately, but the upside is a new arrival today!
I'm feeling quite giddy about this one...pics simply don't quite do it justice, but I look forward to trying. Fit/finish/design is EXTREMELY well done, down to the smallest details. I am certainly lovin' this one!!!
(would never have expected this to be my very first Speedmaster model, but I'll suffer through )

This was definitely not my next planned purchase, (I really thought my next would be something from Tudor), but this like new Mark II popped up at a price I could not refuse...and well...
It's a really incredible piece IMO...many of the details simply have to be seen in person to fully appreciate.

Thanks again Phil...yes, this one would look great on mesh!
I do really like this OEM bracelet though, lug-width is 20mm, but that first link outside the case lug flairs to 22mm and then tapers nicely to 18mm at the clasp...super comfortable on the wrist!!! And it has a nice built in micro-adjust feature at the clasp that allows very small incremental adjustments of like 1-1.5mm up to a total range of close to 10mm or so.
Thanks also on the well wishes for a speedy recovery...lots of rest and fluids today!
