So as to make it very clear and, hopefully, to avoid mockery, this is my Today watch, for now.  May change later, if that's okay with all of you--geez.

I just received this J.L. from Erik in a trade. I have to say that if I had to choose just ONE watch to wear every day, this one would be a contendor. Thanks, Erik.

Oh, I do like that very, very much!  :)  The dial, hands, bracelet--basically, the whole 9 yds.

Lots of nice stuff here today...but its like that every day here on 3T!! Allow me to dumb down the proceeding with the sheer brutality of the ORIENT Orange Beast. The weather is beastly in Packerland today so I'll road test Orient number two.

Cheers,

Pax

Nothing "dumbin' down" about the Orient Beast..............they are great watches!

I'm wearing the Hammy Fild Khaki Chrono Auto on a medium brown buffalo strap..........it's looking better, but it's not quite right!  Need more suggestions!

Thanks KC and welcome back. I sometime apologize as I post in another dive Watch forum and my humble Beast doesn't quite fall in line with the high end stuff offerred there. Let's see that Hammy!!

Believe me, the Beast certainly falls in line with their "high end" stuff, it simply doesn't cost as much....I've got the Black Beast and love it.  I do wish, though, that they had "shouldered" the bracelet at the lugs like the Monster in order to visually carry the weight a little better!

"Fantastic" is probably an understatement when it comes to this brand.

The great thing about under appreciated brands is that those of us in the know get to collect a few of them for the same price as a single popular brand.

It's not something you "get" untill you have one on your wrist!
