Nice! I had one of the first issue Citizen Blue Angels like that. I gave it to my oldest son when he went into high school - and it was never to be seen again.  Wish I still had that sucker...

Ken as you may recall Gary and I toyed with the idea of a custom build over at OWS. Of course Gary and I were more interested in a swiss movement build than a Oriental build so the idea didn't really fit in on OWS :P

I built four of these from off the shelf parts at Ofrei, they cost about $150.00 in materials at the time (it would still be pretty close to that now)plus I had to assemble them. They are a simple 35.2mm classic military homage with a 2824, sapphire, and screwdown crown and caseback. I am pretty sure that Bill Yao's mil spec style dials will fit this case which would give you some lume on the dial but the swiss font on these is pretty cool.

The Omega hands were just a one off idea I had but they can also be bought off the shelf from Ofrei.

PM me ken I'll send one of them your way for a Christmas present :P

It was a gift from my wife.  I wear it seldom:(.  It's a nice enough watch but I'm not fond of how the functions are accessed via the crown, the fact that its difficult to read, that it has an integrated bracelet, or that it has no light so its essentially useless at night (if its not mechanical it should have a light IMHO):(
