Going with the Oris Titan 1000m today, after wearing the 3T for one straight week (the longest with one watch in quite a while).

My favorite local AD was having a Swiss Watch event this weekend wiith reps in from most of the majors that they carry. I picked this one up in a weak moment yesterday. Just time for a quick wrist shot this morning.

Well, my oldest daughter has gone off with her mother to get...  tattooed together.  mistake.gif  Not your typical Mother's Day event...   so am taking the opportunity, switching back to the MarcelloC and probably heading to the pool and partaking of some alcoholic beverages after awhile...

Ken, I think you're right the MarcelloC is the better watch

HEY PRES ..... my date wheel sticks on my 3T'r also ?!? It works so I thought I would just leave it alone and hope that it doesnt get worse .....what do you think ???? If I am setting the date it sticks and moves forward to the next date if I continue to spin the crown much more that what is usual for a 2824 ... also it does move forward naturally to the next date if wound enough .....

The clasp should last for 15 or 20 years of daily wear, more the way most of us wear our watches on a rotation. Given the life span most of us can expect at this stage in our life, the argument is pretty academic IMHO! The Rolex will cost a little more in maintenance but will last for generations with reasonable care. The same can probably be said for the Marcello, but which do you want to pass down to your sons?

Hey Steve,
Cool!  I have been trying to get my wife to go with me for a tattoo but she loathes needles.  I have 7, hoping to get number 8 this summer.  But, that would mean I would have to forego a watch or two

Cheers,
Griff

Hope you get your 3T Orsa back soon!

I told my boys that I won't mind if they get tattooed when they are 18 (that will be awhile!) as long as they don't get their necks tattooed or something crazy like that.  All of mine are well hidden in business clothes so they don't offend the powers that be!
The first 5 minutes are the worst, after that I get numb, lol.

Cheers,
Griff
