'Fraid I'm wearing my Clone here on humpday.

When a heroic group design effort was let down by indifferent assembly and spotty quality control.. (great bunch of forumers, "high end" boutique watchmaking firm appeared to feel this $1k watch was "beneath" any serious effort or attention).. I traded away the disappointing result.

Within weeks Croton released this clone.  Same case, same "revolutionary" counter-rotating bezel, low-buck quartz movement.

Dead reliable & dead accurate for 1/10th the price of the original.  mistake.gif

Ya know... I'm Okay with that!

What he said!
Everyone who collects swiss watches should have at least one Eterna in their collection as this company represents the origin of ETA's 28xx series movements it represents a large piece of swiss watchmaking history!! And I don't have one yet:shock:

oh ya I'm wearing ... oooh I really need to take a better picture of this Gruen...
