Just picked this nice looking Luminox dive watch up while doing some post holiday shopping for my wife. These are discontinued now and I actually wanted one a couple of years ago, but never pulled the trigger. So, I was happy to find it on sale at a great price. It is very handsome on the wrist.

It features a nicely done 43mm SS case, dark black dial with white numerals, glowing gas tubes on the hands and markers, smooth rotating bezel, and a surprisingly comfortable 22mm rubber dive strap. Screwed in case back too. Swiss Made Quartz Movement of some sort. 4-year battery. All-in-all a nice deal for me. I love glow-in-the-dark gas tube watches.

No. I was disappointed in that one. This one I REALLY like.

Although maybe you are thinking of my Traser. I did sell that one but then I got another one just like it later from srh_pres (I missed it).

I like it! Very nice flow of the case, bezel, dial...everything!

I haven't been that big of a fan of the traser watches or any watches using those iluminating tubes. But this one rocks! Only missing an automatic movement ;)

I like the way the steel looks. Darkish like it was tegimented.

And it glows

Is it not possible to make the tubes wider? atleast on the hands I think that would be nice.

Heh, funny.  I owned both that Luminox and Traser also. :)

I think that Luminox is the brightest one I have ever seen.  Mine would
just about pass for a nightlight.  Nice weight and size also and a good band as you stated.

Local TJMAXX just had the same Luminox model with the additional liquid crystal
display on clearance for $119.  Maybe if it gets reduced a little more and no one else grabs it Ill go for it.  Really like the plain face better though.

Ball makes a new model with wider (i.e. chunkier) vials or tubes. I'm not sure they use them on the hands though.

The luminox glows a bit brighter than my Traser. However, both Trasers have been spot-on as far as the second hand and the markers (lining up).

I found this Luminox at TJ Maxx. I went in to get my wife some ear rings an walked out with it instead. How about them apples! :D:D:D
