KenC's pictures a few weeks ago pushed me over the edge! Ordered a blue Mako from Marc on Monday nite. My first automatic watch. I've had hand crankers, but not automatics. Wife rolled her eyes(again), but my response was "Looks like I'm a collector!". So, for now, I guess I'm a collector....I think it was that trip to Switzerland a few years back!
Photos and evaluation to follow upon arrival. So far, so good.

You can't beat that watch for the money. Lume is excellent, bracelet is awesome. Great color on the dial too.

Mike is McWright (pun intended) to say the blue is a most pleasing shade. Really a rich tint.

You are gonna enjoy your Orient and I'll bet you'll be working with Marc more in the future. He's cool like that!!

Congrats and enjoy your new watch!

Arrived via USPS today. Just a gorgeous watch. Marc gave a great 3T deal. After removing 2 links from the bracelet, it's been on for about 3 hours now. Very substantial feel. Would take some pictures, but weather(lighting outside) is lousy today. Besides, Ken's are great shots, anyway.
Island Watch rocks! Another satisfied customer.
Next move is something with an exhibition back, perhaps. I'll need to wait a few months, though.

Thanks! BTW, is this bezel supposed to rotate? If so, which way. Mine seems to be permanently attached. I wouldn't want to rip this thing apart just to move something that's supposed to not move!

The bezel should rotate counterclockwise.

Nope, not budging. Do I need to loosen something? Send it in for service???? Not a huge deal to me if it won't move, but.....

If he hasn't already contacted you, I owuld get in touch with Marc. He can either walk you through getting the bezel to rotate or offer some other options. Good luck! I'm sure you won't have any issues dealing with Marc... he'll take care of you.

Yep,
Marc pm'd last night. After putting on some rubber gloves for more grip, it eventually started turning. Still very stiff, though.
