Last Friday UPS dropped off the package. WOW!!! Talk about "tool" divers, this thing is NICE. With the addition of this watch in the Ocean7 line up Mitch has raised the bar on the competition. I took it home and sized it Friday night. It sized very easily, the screws backed out and re-theaded smoothly. Screws and tube link adjustments, (you will need two screwdrivers).

Overall fit and finish is superb. Crown and pushers thread down smoothly. Bezel clicks are perfect. Solid bracelet endlinks fit nicely to the case. Same bracelet as my G-2 but the detail finish on this one seems to be a touch nicer. I swapped out the standard butterfly clasp for the Ocean7 fold-over dive clasp. I had the dive clasp on the G-2 at the time. I like the security and adustability with this clasp better.

The dial is remarkable. Very clean and clearly layed out. The chrono dials are visible when needed but not overpowering visually. I really like the deep black dial and crisp white minute and hour markers. The hands are fantastic. The orange of the minute hand POPS off the dial and the orange tipped chrono second hand is a nice detail. I went with the solid lume hands and am very happy I did. The legibility of the time at a quick glance is perfect. Very cool blue lume on the dial and hands, nice and bright and lasts all night long. The proportion of the dial to the case is really nice too. sometimes I've seen dials on cases this size to appear small in proportion. I have to say Mitch did and outstanding job on the development and final design of this one.

I had a chance to shoot some pics over the weekend. Enjoy.

Nice looking watch DaveThumbsup3.gifQuestion? Can you operate the chrono while underwater? If not how would someone diving utilize the watch for timing a dive????????

Skipdawg-Ya might as well pull the trigger. You have been eyeing this 7750 for the past couple of days now.LOL You even tried to get us on the action with the one you found posted 4-sale on the other site. What is the deciding factor? Go for ithand6.gif Thats a great looking diver.

LOL yea WUS has been trying to enable me on this baby for sure. Just did some email chat with Mitch so now have to decide now or wait. They seem to be going fast and only so many 7750 movements available right now.

And yea that formex is a a crazy low price love mine. A very good buy but this LM-6C dose look like it just raised the bar for Ocean7 in a big way.;)

Thanks guys.

Tony, no you can not operate the chrono pushers under water. They have screw down collars to secure them and make them waterproof to 500m. The chrono function is for top-side use only. The rotating bezel is used to time your dives.

Duh, sorry Dave, I really am not that stupid:D for some reason when I looked at the dial i thought a second hand was necessary to time a divecrap.gifbrain fart on my part.

This watch really looks good on a rubber dive strap too. When I purchased the watch I also purchased the black silicone PloProf strap. It gives it a real sport diver look. I mainly prefer bracelets but in the summer I like to swap out a bracelet for a dive strap now and then. When I get a chance I shoot some pics on the PloProf strap.

I have to say that I've been WOW!ed by this diver. I've looked at the Ocean 7 line and thought they were nice, but I'll have to go with the rest of the guys, the bar has been raised.
