One of my favorite models!

What shop did you get it at, what side of the Island?

Okay, did they give you a deal?

What cruiseline?
How were the crowds at Ports?

Great catch.

princess cruiseline, store called Trident jewels & time, address is 9/lb main st. st. thomas, Virgin Islands 00801, dealt with a really knowledgeable guy (not pushy at all) his name is Manoj, if anyone needs the phone # or email let me know.  They also own several other stores under different names, such as Little Europe.  They had the most unbelievable selection on the part of the island that i was in (uptown).  Lots of Oris, Glycine, Anonimo, Ulysse Nardin, Roger Dubois, they are authorized dealers for many others as well.  A friend of mine purchase a UN from them a year back and was also very happy.  32% off retail, tax free, I dont think I would have gotten a better deal at any Authorized dealers anywhere except maybe on ebay but i wouldnt make such an expensive purchase on the bay without trying it on and seeing it first.

by the way thanks for all the kind words guys, i will definitely wear it every day for a while.  Also heres my attempt at a lume shot:

Very nice U.N.

St Thomas is one of the best places for watches in the Carribean that Ive found.
St Maartins is next.  Anyplace that hands you a beer while you are shopping in their store is all right in my book.

great review thanks, the only difference is mine is the newer larger 42mm size, model 263-33.  luckily they made it larger, i feel 40mm is too small.  But again i wish to thank you guys for all your remarks and all of your education over the short time ive been collecting.  More pics of my other watches to follow.  Cartier roadster auto, philip admirale 44mm chrono, and gotta include the wife's frank muller diamond curvex, now that i finally figured out how to take and post pix.  Thanks

Awesome, the UN is a beautiful watch, congrats hand6.gif

My wife has been talking about going to St. John this summer (we honeymooned there), maybe I should be saving some $$ to ferry over to the St. Thomas watch shops :D

Cheers,
Griff
