I saw JTV had the Avier Gran Torino back at at most agreeable price and thought I better snatch one up. At first pass, I am not disappointed and am in fact quite impressed with the watch. also the service from JTV was superb with my order placed Thursday evening, shipping Friday and arriving safe and sound today although they still used the DHL to USPS hand-off.

I was concerned the watch was a bit on the smallish side but after seeing O's and his comments that it played larger I thought it would be worth a try. Beautiful blue textured dial and as modeled after you know what. Lovely screwed bracelet which could use half links for a bit more custom fit but this is a small point. Best of all a Swiss Made eta 2824.

Out the door for ice skating but a couple Q and Ds:

Oops!! Wrong Gran Torino!! mistake.gif

Congrats Mark on a Awesome Avier!party.gif...I wear mine often and like how that blue dial changes color in the light....and for what we paid for "Swiss Made" isn't too hard to take either!cool10.gif

Very nice looking watch. The only improvement I would suggest is dropping a Junkers logo on the dial to spice it up a tad. :D:D:D:D

Thanks guys! This is a very enjoyable watch. Oscar makes a great point about the dial changing colors depending on lighting conditions and angles. As I was driving home last night fro the rink wearing polarized shades the dial went to the most bizarre purple/deep lavender. Sometimes I wish I was like Steve Austin and had a camera in my head!! And you are absolutely right, O; worth well beyond the price we paid.

Another great find Pax. I have been debating about getting one of these but the size kind of worries me .  If you and O are happy with it I may just have to take the plunge.

P.S.  When are Starsky and Hutch going to be running around the corner to jump in the car?
