Sandwich dial PAM homage with a chinese clone swan-neck ETA movement, sub-seconds at 9, lightly domed sapphire crystal and a leather 24mm strap incorporating a brushed pre-v buckle. Oh - and it is about 7 minutes to 12.

Well - you said to guess...   ;) subtlelaugh.gif

Must say that the quality of the case seems first-rate. Bring it on! It's a ???

Cheers - IanM hand6.gif

No David - just a guess!

Where's your album - would enjoy looking at a few more Camera_photos.gi. IMHO it is a nicer look than the gold-handed version, and it does appear to be very nicely made, good sir.

Congrats! IanM hand6.gifhand6.gif

Very nice, David. If you don't mind would you PM the source? I'm just curious if we got our homages at the same spot. What you gonna strap it up with? How is the lume?

I got the same watch in the mail 2 days ago, very nice indeed. though i did not like the high polish finish so i sanded her down to a brushed finish on tan leather, looks way better now.

now if the lume wasnt so weak it would be the ultimate beater IMHO.

Care to share how you did the brushed finish? I've got a polished MM incoming and would like to have a brushed finish. Maybe I would leave the bezel polished,as a decorative touch. I've heard about the 3M pads, but they seem a little cumbersome to get a good job in the detailed parts of a watch case.

I used a soft sanding block 320 grit worked out real nice. The watch didnt last more than a week though. I can no longer set the hands, a real bummer. Keeps good time though. This would be an excellent watch if it wasnt broke and the lume wasnt so crappy. A dial that nice deserves good lume. I havent had good luck with chinese watches except my alpha gmt wich gets little wristime.
