Hi, I'm Geoff, and I'm a new member, here.  Some of you may know me as Sukispop over at WUS.  I wanted to say "Hi" cat28.gif  to you all, and to share with you that I just received my first Enzo, the Sub Hatch.

Well, I first fell in love with this watch, when Shane Delaurian first posted pics of his, quite awhile back. My heart almost sank when I heard that it was sold out and no longer available......

...I very recently found out that the Sub Hatch was being offered, again, and I just had to have it!

I absolutely love the super clean lines and sexy curves of the smooth, fixed, rounded bezel against the squarish case.  The super thick domed sapphire crystal, with its slightly purplish AR coating, is simply amazing to behold in the sun light.  The beautiful, deeply recessed dial puts it all together in a completely harmonious visual package!

I kept hearing about Enzo's legendary customer service and personal approach. I'm very glad to report that dealing directly with Enzo was an even more enjoyable experience than I could ever have hoped for!
Truly world class service...and fun email chatting with Enzo, too!

My Sub Hatch came with Enzo's superb rubber strap w/signed buckle. It's very supple, substantial(balances that heavy watch head exceptionally well), and comfortable. I've also got Enzo's Serie Limitada brown buffalo strap, as well as one of his brand spankin' new SL Italian calfskin straps, coming too!

Some Q&Ds--

Yikes! You can really see my "crown ditch" in this shot...eeewww! mistake.gif

I LOVE THIS WATCH!!!  woohoo.gif

And I look forward to talkin' Enzo with all of you, here!  ;)

Hi Ken,

Thanks!  Yeah, when I started out in WUS, I used to hang out in the Affordables Forum for the most part.  I remember participating in many discussions with you and the other "regulars", there.  ;)

This is such a great watch, and Enzo is such a pleasure to deal with, that I'm quite certain that my Sub Hatch is just the first of many Enzo Mechana watches that will find their way onto my wrist!  watch2.gif

Hi Geoff:

NIce get--you are lucky to have an example of Enzo's original vision/design and smallest/most limited production watch!

I too was taken when I first saw the Enzo prototype photos way back when. Enzo's clean, refreshing and original Sub Hatch design was something different, great looking, and not just another minor twist on 1000 similar watches already out there. I  found out shortly thereafter that just a handful of the prototype were made and none were for sale.

Fast forward--the EMV and EM001 limited editions came out and I bought an EMV which I liked very much. When I received word that Enzo was making a small number of the Sub Hatch models for sale I jumped at the opportunity. I contacted Enzo, drove into NYC, met up with him and brought one home!

An outstanding wearable everyday watch for all occasions or circumstances, the Sub Hatch is for sure!

Good luck with it!

Regards,

Encap

Hi Geoff,

You and I have bumped into each other on WUS.  Great to see you here as well.  It's a great group here!  Congrats on the Enzo.  Wear it in good health and have fun.  I just can't pry mine off my wrist and it's been almost a year.
