I just grabbed the charcoal dial version of the Auguste Reymond Mega Boogie. Horrible name, very nice looking watch. Great deal compared to other price points around the Web for the same watch. This is apparently a limited edition of 999.

Here's the URL: http://www.shopnbc.com/product/?familyid=J170304

That is a very cool watch. At least they don't have Mega Boogie plastered all over it.:D

Hey Or did you see iton SNBC?  The movement was not the same decoration as that pic.  Either way it looks like a nice watch.

As far as I could see it didn't say ARSA and it had that dimple effect.  Just like the Trias.

Thanks, everybody. I have just dropped JS an e-mail message to ask if he can verify that the SNBC version is different from the pix shown above.

You are right. You may not be getting what you think you are getting.  You have always got to be careful when sellers never use manufacturers part numbers or product model names, etc.

I cancelled my order at ShopNBC. Wasn't getting what I thought I was getting. Naturally, their information and pictures were no help whatsoever.

The one at watchseller.com is the limited edition with the decorated 6498 movement. The Slop version has a more or less stock 6498 movement.

Sorry to hear that Or.  Better now than expecting that decorated movement.  There was a big difference.  You saved yourself some shipping back at least.

Hey O,

The pic shows 6498 like the one from watchseller. Worth takin' a chance to me. If it is a POS I will send it back. Sometimes Slop will surprise ya' on the good side.:)

Tony the decoration is the difference.  Other than that they are the same.  But it is a huge difference in the decoration.

Straight from JS: "The one in your 1st photo is a LE piece with a heavily decorated Unitas movement. The one we are currently offering [on ShopNBC.com] is the standard fare with the base caliber Unitas movement (6498). This, if you recall, was the same movement used by Invicta in the Executive models of the 1948 series. They had the exact same non-decorated movement.

I don't know what the price difference may be between the decorated LE model and the one we offer though.
