Back while we had the chit chat on these i pre-ordered the blue dialed one. Nice navy/midnight blue. ;)

Stormy here again so these pics will have to do for now. When the sun comes back I'll try for a better dial pic.

Case is 45mm w/o crown and 16 mm thick.
Crystal is flat sapphire and anti-reflective
Unidirectional bezel
Loaded with a Swiss Eta 2824 movement
42 hours of power reserve
Has Incabloc shock protection
Natural rubber strap 22mm

Came with the inner and outer box. Place for the watch and extra bracelet or another watch.

Yes same case design as my little Red Corvette LE. This is a LE also 5/100

Came with a bonus bracelet. I guess I drove Joe nuts since the order. LOL :D

And average lume. But orange lume is hard to hit. Gevril/GV2 is some of the best orange lume I have seen so far.

Thanks guyz. Yea the shade of blue used is nice. But I just can't get a real good pic of it due to the clouds or with the flash or indoor lighting. :?

I have a dark blue rubber strap I may put on this that matches very close to the dial too. But this black is comfy. Same one that is on my Corvette. ;)

Yea same crown Hucky and very easy to use. I have some I can't get ahold of when on my wrist this one is easy. ;)

Yea I tried to ease off some in June. LOL but did make a few inquires. hehehehe :D

If it were not 45mm I could see this on Ken's wrist. That blue and orange thing ya know. LOL :D

Thanks much guys. ;) And the bezel is nice and smooth of this one. My Corvette is just a tad tight but both are fine for a desk diver. LOL :D

Very nice Skip! I've been eyeing one of those. I really like the dial & hands on that one. The bracelet looks heavy duty too. ThumbsUp02.gif

Thanks Dave. Yea this is going to be another fun one to wear. But then they all are. :D

Yea not a bad bracelet. duel screw both sides of the bracelet. Not as much heft as the Enzo or Ocean7 bracelets but not bad as bracelets go and has a nice clasp on it too. ;)

Skip,

How do you like it compared to your Tritons? Is the lume any better, i.e. does it last longer than the Triton?

Thanks much. Besides the case being the same as the Corvette the design is common to a certain Tissot and a RGM diver also.

I like this allot but the Triton's do have it beat. :) Their lume is better too.

Still cloudy so gave it a go under some white florescences lighting. Shows the blue much better.

Awesome shots Skip; you're totally pushing me over the edge!!! Would you say the lume fades pretty fast, or does it just fade a bit while still lasting throughout the night? I'm not worried about it being "Seiko Bright", but I'd like to know if it can make it from sun down to sun up; I wear my watches at night when I sleep, and tend to check them in the middle of the night when I wake up.

Thanks. I have not checked it out over night yet. I may do that tonight if I think about it. :) Depends on how many beers I have later. :D

That's a great shot Dawg!! How about the marker, particularly 12:00? Gotta a little 3-d applique or paint? This picture is very flattering! toon1.gif

That is an awesome watch! I searched all over for the corvette model when I saw it on one of the forums but never found one... I do like it on the bracelet!!!

Now if I can just bring myself to pull the trigger on one while they are still available!

Thanks. Back when the Corvette was available Slop and the old SAH had them up for a clearance and or closeout price and they went fast. Only 300 made in that LE.

There are 100 made in this LE. And I see the price went up since I bought it. Yikes!

Oh I like it. I wish now I had not give away a shirt that had blue, black, yellow and orange on it to charity. Would have gone together great. LOL :D ;)

OK, Skip you hooked me on this watch with your great shots. I just ordered the Nitrox Abyss with the black dial and SS bracelet. I asked Joe a couple questions about it and in one of his emails he sent me a discount code (which brings it back to the preorder price).  Now I'm just waiting for conformation on my order from Joe.

When these first were introduced I thought OK, another want-to-be diver in the crowd, but then with closer examination of the features and apparent nice build quality it caught my attention. Then Skip starts posting some great shots of what looks like a winning dive watch. Great looking dial layout and hands, robust case, cool and funtional bezel, and what looks like a nice quality bracelet. I'm hooked!

Now I have to wait.   I hope shipping is quick

LOL Dave glad to hear Joe is going to do you right. Had it on all day and not bad at all. I still need to do a night test of the lume. Was just to pre-occupied last night. LOL

Folks were setting of fireworks around here till at least 3 AM. Friday 4th of July and next year will likely be the same being a Saturday.

Can't wait to see your pics. ;)

Yea it can Ken. If I am ready for it it dose not phase me but when I get that surprise startle any loud noise sets me into a tizzy. But things are much better now. I've gone through a total of 4 shrinks now in the last 15 years and meds. Paxil kicked my butt when they took me off it. :?

Keeping my mind busy helps. Watch collecting and researching watches do that just fine. LOL :D
