Got my Watchadoo finally (shipped from Australia, wherever THAT is!).  Mated it to my new Expedition Trophy 2006 and here's the result.  The bezel on this V-E is 42.5mm, plus the crown protector.  It keeps track of the time in a second time zone by just rotating the outer bezel.

Boy, the watch and bracelet look made for each other.  I've considered picking that watch up more than once.  How is it in the accuracy department?

Wow Tom. that makes me want to grab one for mine!! Well done! That is the brushed Watchadoo, right? Looks super!yourock.gif

Mr. Bill, I have the same model watch and the accuracy isn't Swiss caliber but not but at anywhere around +15 - +25 a day. I can surely live with that... They are neat watches indeed and this set up just makes it sing!Thumbsup3.gif

I read somewhere that the cities shown on the bezel where waypoints for a Russian endurance event of some kind.  Like the Iditerod or something, but minus the dogs and sleds and plus motorized vehicles, I think.

Anyway, it sure is a good looking piece.

Saturday will be my first full day wearing it, so don't know the accuracy yet.  I'm betting that Pax is right on, though.

You're right.  This from Wikipedia:

The MurmanskVladivostok Expedition Trophy is the world's longest winter motor rally. It runs 12,500 km from the Kola Bay lighthouse, Murmansk in north-west Russia to Zolotoi Rog bay lighthouse, Vladivostok in Far Eastern Russia, and is also the longest rally entirely within one country. The rally was first held in 2005 to celebrate the completion of the Trans-Siberian highway in 2004.

The rally comprises two-vehicle teams, each vehicle containing three people, and at least one person on each team must be female. Vehicles are provided by the race organisers, and are presented as prizes to the teams which complete the rally. The race follows the route Murmansk - St. Petersburg - Moscow - Yekaterinburg - Novosibirsk - Krasnoyarsk - Irkutsk - Khabarovsk - Vladivostok, with teams being eliminated at the end of each stage, and the total journey taking 13 days. The ultimate winners of the race are also awarded 10 kg of pure gold.

Here's a map, too:

Hey Tom - nice combo!

I'm from Australia - if you look at your map of Russia, Australia is just a bit South of there and on the right... subtlelaugh.gif. We are just on the left of New Zealand... subtlelaugh.gif

Have a great day!
