After reading a fair bit about the Accutrons, I asked a question around here about the lume.  Satisfied with the answers given, I said 'now I just have to be lucky to find a deal'.  I guess I didn't need to be lucky, I just needed to ask the folks around here.

A fellow member offered me his VX-200 at an awesome price.  I couldn't pass it up.  I've read too much about how great the bracelet is, and what a value they seem to be.  Plus...I was excited to get my first Valjoux hand6.gif.  And I get to watch this one work from the back :).

The bracelet really is a quality piece.  Adjusting it makes adjusting a Monster bracelet look like childs play :D.  The AR coated sapphire looks like it's not even there.  And I dig the sweeping second hand at 9 o'clock.  The coke bezel really sets off the face too, and accents the little bits of red.

And lume really does last all night.  Not bright, but certainly easily readable with night-adjusted eyes.

And here it is (thanks again chris!).  Sorry about the shots.  I had to rely on the flash this morning, as I was in a rush to get to work on time.

Congrats on great watch.  I think you will be happy with your purchase.  I have had one since the Shnoop deal some time ago and love it.  Enjoy. smile8.gif

Thanks everyone!

And the 26hr report (worn straight hand6.gif)...

It's got a really good feel on the wrist.  And...it's running +1.5seconds cool10.gifsince putting it on.
