Stumbled upon this Ritmo Indycar chrono and felt that it had a sporty look that my watch drawer currently lacks.  It's a well-kept secret that SBD is a bit of a car nut (I've got other forums I troll for this addiction) so this watch had instant appeal for me.  Indy isn't my favorite form of racing (though I do enjoy an occasional race...and Danica ain't bad either), but I like everything else about the design.

The 22mm tire-tread rubber strap is appropriate, but I'd like to replace it with something black with red stitching.  If you got any ideas, post them up!  I don't care if it's leather, rubber, ostrich, gator, sailcloth, or whatever.  If you think it would look sporty with this, feel free!

And now, my meager pix:

movement:  Swiss Ronda 5040B

case:  46.5 mm steal

dial:  real carbon fiber with inset subdials

crystal:  not sure, but I see purple AR treatment at certain angles

lugs:  22mm

Camera_photos.gi Oh Yeah, Love it

You need a WIDE strap for that baby, similiar to a Bell an Ross Strap to balance out the head.

Congrats

That sure is a racy looking piece. I have to agree with Hucky... a phat strap would balance the watch head more and really set it off. Enjoy!:D

I was just thinking those pushers reminded me of the anodized colored race fuel rail connectors.

Very cool!

Good suggestions regarding the strap width.  It's definitely a bit of a brick and could use a heftier strap.

Also the blingiest watch I own by far. :P:P:P

Hey, as you guys mentioned, the pushers sort of look like those Aeroquip fittings used on race (or certain modified street) cars. ;)

I just happen to have a few of them laying around for a project I'm working on, so I took a few snaps with them.

Hope you enjoy these.

For bonus points:  Can you tell me what size and type these fittings are? subtlelaugh.gif
