I just received my Accutron TelluRide watch from JTV. I must say it was very fast shipping. The watch itself is tagged as a WTC364 on the box, but the tag on the watch says 26C07 Telluride $995.00. You will need to read the instructions to set this watch. Once you get the hang of it, it works very nicely. The digital window is easy to read and you cycle through the alarm, chrono, day/date features by turning the crown. You must turn the crown rather quick for the change to take place. I was turning it too slow. You need to sort of flick it instead. Mine came with the analog and digital times not matched. So, if you want those to match, please read the instructions. Pressing in on the crown activates a 2 second back light. In normal daylight it sh*** the digital display numbers in green. In the dark the whole dial lights up. I wish just the numbers would have lit up, but it is still a nice feature. The watch measures 38mm across (40mm with crown) making it wear smaller on my wrist than I had hoped for. The rubber strap is adjustable, but you will most likely need to cut it to size for a smaller wrist. Clasp is a bit funky for me, but ok. For a $995 list watch though, I would expect something better than this strap/clasp combo. The very tip of the hands are lumed and they seem to glow quite well in the dark. However, they aren't much good for telling the time. Best to push in the crown and see time in digital at night. Overall, the watch is 6 out of 10 for me. Mostly because of the size. Thanks Tony. I think the watch is a bargain, but I'm not sure I'd pay anywhere near the list price for this model. Maybe if it had a bracelet it would help pull it off. I dunno. I agree with Oscar on the sapphire crystal. Very cool. And, I like the ability to switch to 24hr. time, etc. Just hate the idea of cutting the rubber strap to size it. :D |

Congrats Mikehand6.gif...I kinda like the strap and deployant and for a ani-digi and unusual case design I have no prob with the size....everyone needs to remember that the movement in this watch is considered very high end and is used by a couple high end brands like Breitling and Omega....I will take a pic of this movement asap...and yes that saph crystal is a work of art in itself imo...again Congrats Mike! |
