I've been on perpetual travel for the last three weeks, finally got home late last night so I can post a few new acquisitions since I've been on the road!!! First a new Homage that I have been building for the last 2 months, finally finished it this morning...had it all put together once and the crown broke on the final steps, had to wait for a new one to arrive. This has a genuine Unitas 6497 skeleton movement with a glossy black sterile dial, the crown lock actually does lock the crown in place, it can not be wound with it in the locked position. The original plan was to assemble without a dial, let's just say that didn't work out, the movement looks kind of cool with the silver background of the dial.    Second is a Swiss Army Air Boss with a Unitas 6498 movement, 45mm case with inner countdown bezel. It came on a SS bracelet that was not so hot so I swapped it out to this strap....like it much better...    Anf finally an Oceanaut Pulse that I got a great deal on....as the WC would say "got it for less than the cost of the bracelet". Very nice watch, GREAT bracelet, ETA 2824 Top movement....   |

Nicely done, Nick. The homage looks great and the Air Boss is tops. I have always been thrown by the tachymeter on the Pulse, though... nevertheless a pretty watch. Enjoy! |

Thanks Pax, been wanting an AirBoss for a while, found a great deal on Amazon, I've wondered the same thing on the Pulse, but again too good a deal to pass on.....I'll bet the WC has an explanation for it!! |
