I wanted a watch where the whole dial was luminous, if for no other reason than it would be helpful at work. This one appealed to me and was a bargain too. I have never liked the quartz units where the dial was lighted by an led and then quickly went off a few seconds after the button was pushed. This dial is luminous and will glow until the material looses its charge. It will have a test tonight.

Understand...just saw a docuentary on the Zegfield Follies, Fanny Brice and a bunch of related material last nite.
