Got my first ever Russian Aviator and I'm impressed. Great looking, nice finish, everything works well, smooth operation, etc. Plus, it glows in the dark like I'd hoped it would. I couldn't be happier with it. Thanks to Marc at Island Watch for this one. Blazing fast shipment!!! Here are a few quick pictures. I also got a new strap remover tool from Boris in Hong Kong that works better than I ever imagined. I should have gotten one of these a long time ago. What a bargain. I used it to remove the stock Aviator strap and put on one of my Hirsch straps for the pictures. :)

My turn to shoot some silly questions Mike, what is the case size? Looks really nice!!!:shock: How's the alarm sound? The alarm is adjusted as an estimation and could not be on the dot as it is analog right?:?

The alarm is adjusted as an estimation and could not be on the dot as it is analog right?:? 40 x 10 mm Waterresistant 5 ATM Screwed crowns Minery crystal, curved Poljot 2612 movement Warranty 24 Months The Alarm tends to go off early. I set it for 10 AM today and it went off at 9:56AM. The Alarm makes a buzzing sound. It is moderate sound level wise. Not real loud. You can feel it vibrate against your wrist. If you really need to be somewhere on the dot, get a quartz alarm. The quartz also tends to ring/buzz until you shut it off. The manual types only go as long as you wind it. In the case of this watch, that is about 10 - 15 seconds.

Thanks Mike, I understand what you meant. I had an analog alarm quartz too and it was on the dot alarm! I had guessed right about the wind up alarm. Maybe it is good to use in a busy street, subway or nosiy environment! mcwright wrote: watchboy wrote:
