I got this in the mail yesterday.  The Tissot Seastar 1000.  I have stared at Johns (skip) and Oscar's pic's for so long.  I just said, I had to have one.  the Seastar was for my Birthday a few days ago, but I am struggling with it.  I have have been wearing it since yesterday, that's why I did not post it yet, when you go from wearing a Aqualuna, Oris Carlos Coste to a Orsa 3T LE it's just hard to to adjust to a watch that is small in thickness.

I took counsel to my son (13) who has a Monster and who will get the 3T LE when he is 16 yrs old, who stated "dad the Seastar rocks" just keep it.  I asked my wife what does she think...Hmmm she states the Aqualuna is impressive, she also states , I have staring at at your thick "Big Watches To Looooong", I just don't know about this one....face4.gif

I don't know if it's a keeper, I am just trying to be honest here.  who knows what Teddy world will come up with..cat28.gif

Well here it is, the Tissot Seastar 1000.  I know you guys know the star.

It's a beauty, Ted...I had the blue for a couple of years before I sold it...but the black is even nicer...It also looks great on the black rubber strap!

But...if you feel that uncomfortable with it, send it to me!!!!

EDIT:  Well, I've thought about it and, bottom line...the watch sucks...send it to me! :dude:

It's a great watch teddy, give it some time. It took me some time to get used to my GSAR, but once I did, I couldn't have been happier.

Well Teddy it's not massive but not to small either. And it fits under most of my long sleeve shirts fine. LOL I still love mine. Congrats and enjoy. ;)

I have a few 40-42mm watches I keep in the rotation just so non-watch addicts can tell I'm wearing something different everyday. I really like the look of the TISSOT, ENJOY IT!!:cool::cool:

I know the SeaStar is old news and has been around for a while, I guess you can say I'm just little slow finding out about some things around here....subtlelaugh.gif  Well you guys have been a great help.  I really do like everything about SeaStar and also the rubber strap looks really kewl to.  I might have to consider the SeaStar bracelet for it.

Ken it's yours if I go into "flipper dan mode".

The black dial on rubber is really nice. Congrats and enjoy!

I have a white on bracelet.  Almost a dress watch!

I agree, one of the most undervalued divers IMHO
