And it turned out just how i wanted (wish i could find a bezel insert now). The OEM case blast couldnt be matched so the whole watch was done.   Jack masked off the squid on the back to preserve the finish on it, but now the bezel and case are the same finish.  Lots more wrist time for this now.  55$ well spent if you ask me.

i spaced on the clasp...but its finish is so close that it doesnt even bother me...plus...i beat the hell out of the clasp already haha

Looks great, I may do this with mine.  To make the package complete a more subtle insert is really needed.  I wish there was a way to get one custom made.

Very nice look!!  I like it better than the original finish.  A few questions for you.

1.  What part of the squid did Jack mask off?  The entire circle or just the mirror finished parts?

2.  Is this finish more durable than the original case finish?  One reason I'm asking is that I tightened the screws on mine and now I see a few light tool marks on the case.

i believe he masked off the disk...but youd never know it... 

as for durability, i dont know, it hasnt seen much wrist time...i will wear it this weekend and update :)

paladin actually now owns this watch, and posted a picture of it in todays "what watch are you wearing" :)..  i no longer have the pictures, but if ask him real nice, he may take a snap or 2 for you :)
