As luck would have it, Today, I finally acquired a watch that I have always wanted but was just out of reach for me...until now!!  This evening, FedEx  delivered a package I have been waiting on all day....My newest and my favorite of all time acquisitions...The Rolex Submariner in SS/18K with blue dial and blue bezel.  I have always thought this was the best all around looking watch a man could wear.  I was like a kid on Christmas day!  It took me all of two seconds to rip open the box and look over the prize!  I found a very nice deal on a "D" Serial Numbered Model 16613 in mint/unworn condition that features all the latest design elements of this model with exception of the newest inscription that is applied to the inner bezel.  The submariner arrived with original box, papers, booklets, etc. in what appears to be brand new condition...and I am somewhat picky...ROFL.

Awesome on the Grail!!!

Love the feel of the Rolex on the wrist.  Not sure which I like better the Submariner or the Seadweller.

For dinosaurs like me, it's the Sub any time. the smaller date, no cyclops, on the SD is a challenge.

Thanks all!!  I was suprised at how much more comfortable it is in terms of wearing than my Rolex Date-Just.  I also have just realized that I have two watch winders and no open slots so something will definately have to go to the watchbox!!  I have also decided to sell most if not all of my strap watches as I never wear them....I guess I am just used to wearing something with more weight.  Thanks again, Tim.
