Scored a 1 week old Schaumburg Aquamatic 1000m diver for a great price. It arrived today. Has the blue dial. It arrived on a nice blue factory leather strap but I ordered a factory bracelet and it came today as well.

I've recently become a Schaumburg fan, liking many of their designs, and this is my first. This chunk of stainless steel is quite a beast, and when you add the bracelet weighs a ton. :D

I love the way the ridges in the crown guards are carried over into the bezel. I've like this case on all the various watches that use it, Ocean 7, Deep Blue, Enzo, etc.. I heard Schaumburg was the first to use it. Anyone know if there's any truth to that?

Specs are: 42mm X 17mm, 4mm sapphire, helium release valve for all of my saturation diving :D (none)

Anyway, I know this thread is worthless without pics, but since I can't upload from my camera at the moment you'll have to settle for some borrowed internet pics.

Congrats on your purchase. It looks best one the braclet in my opinion and blue is one of my favourite dial colors.

Congrats on a Awesome diver! party.gif...it is true that Schaumburg/Lindbergh&Benson division designed and 1st used the case in the then L&B Nauticfish 04'-05 and it later became what you have in the Aquamatic...I own a 05' L&B Nauticfish not to be confused with the Deep Blue Nauticfish who is just 1 of many to borrow the case/watch design....imho the Shaumburg is still the best! hand6.gif
