I very recently received this Debaufre Airforce Orange and to say that I'm pleased is a gross under statement, I love this watch!  I had coveted one from the time I discovered Debaufre watches in February 2009.  I ordered one in late April but because of a delay in receiving the watches from the manufacturer I didn't receive mine until early June.  This may sound like an issue but it wasn't because I received several phone calls from Debaufre explaining to me that there was going to be a delay.  In early June, Alldaron (Debaufre President) called and told me that they still hadn't received the Airforce watch from Switzerland but not to worry because he was sending me his personal new Airforce Orange!!!  I tried to talk him out of this decision but he insisted, so I gladly accepted his very professional offer.

This wonderful timepiece is awesome to behold and the craftsmanship is fabulous.  It loses about 1 second a day and is an absolute joy to wear!  The standard issue leather strap is very comfortable to wear and looks classy.  But, I felt that this custom Black Bison strap from Jeanna at Stone Creek Straps really complimented the watch superbly!

If you have ever contemplated getting an Airforce from Debaufre I can honestly highly recommend purchasing one.  Sorry for the lengthy story but I wanted to tell you how terrific Debaufre is with customer servivce and their products.  Have a wonderful Independence Day weekend.  woohoo.gif

Norm, I just noticed you added another photo of your new arrival. It really looks good. I am simply amazed it loses only 1 second a day.....that's better than COSC.....but again, still too early. But kudos on that really nice watch. Wear it in good health, amigo!hand6.gif

I also noticed that camera reflection of yours. Is that a Leica you are holding or a Contax???subtlelaugh.gif The flash window looks very familiar.

Nice,really nice.

I love the strap as well, they look like they'd make a nice change from my normal custom strap provider, Toshi.

Thanks Stew77, Jeanna at Stone Creek Straps is such a professional to work with.  I'm communicating with her now on a new strap and because of her knowledge it will be much better than I envisioned.  How is the weather in Colorado?  I spent 5 years in the Springs and I loved it!  ThumbsUp02.gif
