The crown would not screw back into the case making the watch unsutable for diving. But Craig over at R2all sent me a new one since the repair was going to cost more than the watch was worth. Note though, the watch was still under warranty. Regards

That's one of the modern V-E classics. I believe it was in their very first series of models, along with the Mriya, which is also a very nice watch.
