Just got this in today. Had this same model but with a brush finished case. Had to send it back due to winding crown issue. They could not fix it so they send me this one instead. I think it looks neat, more military looking in IMHO. They even threw in an all black strap. I also put it on an olive drab NATO just to see how it looked.(Sorry for the lousy pic).  All in all I'm happy.

Regards

The VE K3 is a nice solid watch. I had a black PVD with radiant silver dial I flipped and I still occasionally miss it. Not your usual cup of tea my vintage loving friend.toon1.gif You don't usually wear anything produced in this century.:D

You are too much my friend. On occasions I tend to live in the present and allow myself to wear a modern timepiece. Besides, I had to get a new dive watch; my vintages just do not like to get wet anymore.:P

The more I look at VE's, the more I like em, and the more I have to have one. Nice watch. What was the winding problem you had?

The crown would not screw back into the case making the watch unsutable for diving. But Craig over at R2all sent me a new one since the repair was going to cost more than the watch was worth. Note though, the watch was still under warranty.

That's one of the modern V-E classics.  I believe it was in their very first series of models, along with the Mriya, which is also a very nice watch.

That's not much good is it!  If you find it you can leave it at mine for safe-keeping and peace of mind.  Low crime rate here in Singapore and I am a man of upstanding repute. :D

These watches have that affect. I too had it locked away for a time until I put it on a Nato and it began to have a new life with me.hearteyes.gif
